Autotube, a Tier 1 automotive parts supplier with locations in Strathroy and Watford, has an opening for a Part time Materials/Logistics and Administrative person for our Watford location.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who has kids in school! The core hours would be from 9am to 1pm daily but we are flexible. We are looking for someone with a minimum of a college education with exemplary computer skills who is extremely organized with an attention to detail and who gets along well with others in a very fast paced environment. Experience with MRP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities include:
- Work with the production department to create weekly production schedules
- Proactively investigate the MRP system to ensure adequate materials are available to meet scheduled requirements
- Arrange alternate shipping methods as required including after hours shipping
- Maintain expedite and short shipping log
- Schedule third party transportation needs
- Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers
- Maintain and update graphs and metrics
- Track production build to schedule to ensure 100% customer deliveries
- Support production team with material related inquiries
- Coordinate and execute inbound shipping of machinery on new product launches
- Assist and participate in cycle counts and year end inventory counts
- Work with production to develop and maintain routers
