Job Description
Agilus is recruiting for a Controls - Team Leader in the Automation Solutions industry.
The Team Leader will lead a team of Controls Specialist as they execute projects. As well as be responsible of ensuring the delivery of top notch service and problem solving solutions to customers.
A typical day:
- Work with management to support the branches quarterly, annual, and long-term priorities.
- Lead the execution of projects - design, drafting, programming, and commissioning.
Lead a team of Control Specialists, provide technical direction, mentor & guide - Exercise Project Management and technical skills to lead the team
- Build & Develop internal relationships, strengthen the teams ability to deliver the full offering of services
- Involvement in hiring, performance reviews and career development plans for direct reports.
- Resource scheduling to ensure resources are meeting their chargeability and capacity targets, and that all customers are being serviced. Balance workload assignments to ensure targets are met and employees are engaged with appropriate work levels.
Successful candidates will have:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering
- 5 + years of experience in the Automation industry.
- Previous experience leading a team is required.
- Design, Procurement, Programming, Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance of controls systems experience.
- PLC's: Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi / Omron. DCS: Honeywell / Delta V, Rockwell PlantPAx. SCADA: Rockwell, Ignition, Wonderware. HMI's: Rockwell / Siemens VFS's & Servos. Network design & implementation
- Experience with network architecture design, system virtualization and AutoCAD/Electrical Design
- Strong communication skills - interfacing with customers
