Job Description
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager for their dynamic team. This growing company is looking for an adaptable professional to add to their team. This position will award an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience. Preference will be given to candidtes versed in process and operations, scheduling and logistics.
This company has experienced significant year over year for the last 10 years. This individual will oversee the day to day operations of the business including new construction and special projects. The OM will work with the field supervisor, manager of HSE and office staff in order to orchestrate the daily work load in a professional and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate may be an engineer or technician with experience in managing a company or a department within a company. An MBA would also be of value. The applicant must be mechanically inclined in order to understand and oversee the operations taking place on site. Any expertise in chemical loading, pumps and motors, logistics and rail operations will be an asset. Creative thinking, mechanical expertise and professional engineering experience is an asset in order to design, improve and construct new equipment and work processes. Most importantly the new OM must foster an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong ability to prioritize, deliver impeccable customer service and deal with urgent matters on a daily basis.
