Designer – Unigraphics

Our client, a global leader in the manufacture of light armoured military vehicles with an innovative approach to design and assembly, is looking to attract UGNX Designer to support Senior Designers and Project Engineers. 

The responsibilities require you to;

• Create solid models and detail drawings from sketches, notes and direction from Designers and Engineers
• Perform design calculations and trade-off studies
• Create sophisticated models using Unigraphics NX based CAD system
• Conform to strict industry driven specifications

You will need:

• 3 year College Diploma or University degree in a mechanical discipline
• 3 years mechanical design utilizing CAD tools in a related industry
• Full proficiency in Unigraphics NX
• Excellent understanding of modeling, drafting and advanced assemblies
• Knowledge of desktop applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple demands within a fast paced manufacturing environment
