Mechanical Designers

What you will be doing:

• Designing custom production machinery for the automotive industry utilizing Solidworks
• Effectively communicating with internal and external  staff and clients
• Developing concept through to finished assembly and detail drawings
• Modifying existing designs and maintain revisions and document control
• Check designs and detailed drawings
• Engineering calculations
• Develop bill of materials

 
What skills you need to have:

• College or University diploma/degree
• At least 3 years mechanical design experience, at least 1 year with Solidworks or other 3D CAD package
• Experience with machine design - weldments, machined parts, drive components, pneumatics and automation projects
