Vari-Form Inc. is a leader in advanced tube hydroforming technology for the development and manufacture of products used by the automotive industry. Vari-Form Inc. has three facilities in Strathroy, Ontario and additional sites located in USA, Italy, China, and Mexico. Vari-Form Inc. is a division of the Crowne Group who is a leading manufacturer of automotive and industrial components to the Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (AM) Industries.

Our Finance team has an opening on our day shift for the below position at our Strathroy, Ontario location. This position is responsible for Treasury and Cash Management for Vari-Form that includes a variety of financial reports and analyses.

Financial Analyst

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Treasury responsibilities – monitoring of local and international bank accounts. Managing movement of funds within Vari-Form Companies and with Crowne Group LLC. Includes trading different currencies as required. Send daily update of bank balances to Crowne Group Treasury

2. Cash Forecasting – on a weekly basis update Vari-Form’s global cash forecast for next three-month period. The forecast is detailed based on customer collections, vendor payments and capital projects.

3. Factoring – process sale of accounts receivable to factoring company and reconcile customer deposits in the factoring web site.

4. Balance bank accounts and assist in completing month end financials results in a timely manner, including journal entries and account analysis and intercompany loan schedules.

5. Preparation of the tax working paper for Canada and the USA. Process the withholding taxes, indirect taxes and income tax installments. Maintain government tax matters including the catalogue of uncertain tax positions and audits.

6. Comply with company policies and procedures supporting the quality management system, environmental management system, and health and safety.

7. Other duties as assigned, including support for insurance policy reporting requirements.

Educational Requirements and Skills:

1. A minimum of 5 years of treasury experience in a multinational corporation.

2. Knowledge of taxation, financial statement preparation and analysis.

3. College diploma, university degree, or a recognized accounting designation.
4. Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
