MYERS INSURANCE BROKERS is a privately owned insurance brokerage established in 1944. We offer a wide range of insurance products including home, auto, recreational, commercial, and farm. We are proud to have provided insurance services for several generations to customers from the Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent areas.

We require a full-time individual in our Corunna office to service an existing book of business. Applicants must have possessed a RIBO or OTL licence for a minimum of 3 years.

Duties will include:

-Checking and invoicing renewals, as well as remarketing where necessary.

-Processing endorsements as required in our system and on company portals.

-Quoting, writing, and issuing of new policies derived from phone calls or walk-in business.

-Identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clientele.

-Liaison with company underwriters to negotiate coverages and premiums for clients.

-Reporting and follow-up of claims to companies.

-Address client enquiries and follow-up on outstanding accounts.

What you possess:

-The successful candidate will be RIBO licenced for 3 or more years. OTL licenced individuals will also be considered providing they can obtain their RIBO licence within 3 months.

-Must have personal skills and pleasant demeanor when dealing with customers.

-Ability to work with others in the office, as well as unassisted.

-Willingness to learn and become further educated.

-Familiarity with Power Broker, Applied Rating, and company portals an asset.
