Waterville TG Inc., a Tier 1 automotive supplier of weather-stripping located in Petrolia, Ontario (near Sarnia) currently requires a:

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

 Afternoon or Night shift (to be determined)

Job Purpose:

Provide leadership, direction, support, mentoring, and coaching to Production Team Members.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

-Ensure that key success factors as defined are attained (safety, quality, production, efficiencies, etc.)

-Promote positive employee relations

-Analyze scrap and production reports

-Communicate company policies/procedures, and ensure they are adhered to

-Communicate team member issues and concerns to management

-Promote accountability, flexibility, initiative and personal development within the production workforce

-Promote continuous improvement, kaizen activities and teamwork

Qualifications:

-5 or more years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive

-Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is an asset

-Computer skills in a windows environment, including email
