We currently have an exciting new opportunity to join our Engineering Team in Strathroy, Canada.
The Person:
As a key player in our Manufacturing Family, the successful candidate will report to the CNC Process Leader, the incumbent will work within the engineering group under the direction of the CNC Process Leader to support production, maintenance and program launches on CNC and dedicated machining equipment focusing on process, productivity, quality and technology.
Your duties will also involve:
Fluency in English is essential. The home base for this position will be at our Manufacturing Facilities in Strathroy, Ontario, Canada. The successful applicant must be able to commute daily to this location.

Your duties will also involve:
- Production/ Maintenance Responsibilities: Floor level problem solving activities champion.
- Production machining process knowledge developed and process improvements implemented.
- Process variation identified and minimized.
- Cycle time optimization achieved. Information systems developed and maintained.
- Training of production and setup personnel achieved. Provide leadership and mentoring to production personnel.
- New Equipment Launch/Special Projects: Design of work holding fixtures to be used in machining operations.
- Setup of tooling lineups for complete machining of metal castings.
- Support procurement, acceptance and installation of new machining cells/equipment into Meridian facilities.
- Develop and enhance machine tool and equipment build standards in accordance with new technology, materials and best practices.
- Operating procedures developed, implemented and training initiated. Updates and amendments as required.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Consistently applying company rules and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Other responsibilities as required, including special projects as they arise.
