Our client is a world class automotive tier one manufacturer with highly automated equipment that supports an extrusion process.  On their behalf, we are looking to identify a Process Engineer to provide specialist support on Plant Layouts relating to business acquisition. You will ensure that the process flow is optimized and ensure communication is continuous through the Plant departments.

Responsibilities Include:

•           Direct the Plant’s process reviews on new programs

•           Manage the communication between technical departments

•           Construct a process plan for local Plant, working with corporate engineering group

•           Ensure new programs adhere to process plan and SOPs

•           Organize and record production capacity on new programs

•           Ensure process implementation conforms to associated legislation

•           Adhere to corporate guidelines

Key Qualifications:

•           P.Eng or working towards your designation

•           Minimum of 5 years related experience

•           Ability to work in a fast paced environment

•           Strong understanding of extrusion an asset

•           Demonstrable expertise in Plant Layout and product flow

•           Solid understanding of TPS philosophies

•           Excellent presentation skills
