Job Description
Autotube Limited, a progressive auto parts manufacturer in Watford, Ontario has an immediate opening for a Shipper Receiver/Material Handler for the afternoon shift (Monday- Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am).
The successful candidate must have each of the following:
· Excellent computer skills. Experience with MRP would be an asset.
· Valid forklift certification with minimum 2 years safe and efficient forklift experience.
· Extremely organized and able to maintain an organized and well maintained warehouse and plant.
· Able to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks.
· Takes initiative in providing suggestions to improve efficiency and output as well as ensuring 5S practices are met.
· Excellent communication skills - with other employees, customers, suppliers etc…
· Ability to co-ordinate and facilitate Kaizen and continuous improvement projects.
· Must have demonstrated a history of good attendance, be dependable and reliable.
· Previous automotive plant experience considered an asset.
· Must be able to maintain accuracy and be detail oriented
Major areas of responsibility:
The pay for this position is $16-$18 depending on experience.

Major areas of responsibility:
- Supply materials to production lines, as required.
- Remove finished goods from production lines to finished goods area.
- Assist in the transition between the afternoon and day shifts by ensuring material that is running on the day shift is moved to the work area
- Load and document finished goods movement onto trailers using scanning equipment.
- Receive raw materials from the material warehouse, enter receipts using the computer RF unit and label material appropriately.
- Conduct daily Forklift equipment inspections and maintain all equipment properly
- Report all unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor.
- Ensure any damaged products are not shipped to customers.
- Perform inventory tracking tasks as required including cycle counts
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Use computers and scanners.
- Maintain a well organized and clean warehouse
