The Role
Online Support Agents help clients find solutions for their technology challenges by phone or through online chat sessions. Agents provide remote assistance with software repairs, upgrades or installations, and computer system optimization services on a full range of devices. Excellent communication skills are key to providing an experience to the client consistent with the ConnectPro pledge.
Our Online Support Agents are able to be employed in their field of expertise while enjoying all of the benefits of working from home. You’ll be interacting with multiple clients simultaneously through both our chat and phone channels from the comfort of your home office.

Responsibilities
- Connects and communicates with potential clients using online portal, and recommends appropriate services based on the client's description of the situation.
- Uses good customer service skills to appropriately greet Client, determine needs, and recommend solutions that are appropriate and applicable to the client's needs or desires.
- Maintains high levels of professionalism, courtesy and customer service throughout all client interaction
- Performs repair/training using phone, online chat, and remote desktop software for, but not limited to:
- Diagnosing operating system problems, repairing all issues and removing malware
- Upgrades and installations of software
- Wireless network setup and troubleshooting
- External peripheral installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Tutoring clients on a wide range of hardware and software
- Recommends appropriate additional solutions to the client.
- Uses only approved software tools at all times
All requirements are based on 2 plus years of experience and include, but are not limited to the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PC maintenance/repair
- Must be 18 or older
- Access to a quiet work environment (this is a work-from-home position)
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously on multiple communication channels (chat/phone)
- Advanced manual virus removal skills
- Networking proficiency, including gaming and home theater systems as well as mobile phones
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual
- Home theater troubleshooting experience
- Retail sales experience
- Tablet and cellular troubleshooting experience
- Call center experience
- Retail service experience
- Diploma or Certificate with PC Repair/Networking
- A+ Certified as well as MCSE, CNA, CCNA, CCNP
