Job Description
KML Windows is part of the Andersen Corporation; the world’s leading manufacturers of windows & doors, is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist for their Strathroy facility. The position will be responsible for facilitating and coaching the Andersen Management System’s (AMS) development and deployment in all aspects of operations. This includes leading continuous improvement activities to support targets in safety, quality, cost and delivery, all with a focus on the customer.
EXPERIENCE:

EXPERIENCE:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Lean Manufacturing Management or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in a lean manufacturing environment. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups and teams through training and kaizens.
- Demonstrated ability to effect change.
- Lean knowledge plus experience in lean transformation.
- Must be able to influence and motivate individuals and groups to seek change.
- Ability to recognize opportunities and challenging the status quo.
- Six Sigma training or related experience preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task several projects
- Able to work independently using sound judgment in reviewing & analyzing data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated in a positive and professional manner.
