The Quality Manager position is required to develop a comprehensive quality strategy and implementation plan that ensures our products and services meet or exceed applicable specifications and customer requirements and expectations. The Quality Manager leads the quality team and companywide efforts to implement that plan. The role identifies and leads quality improvement work broadly within the business.

Position Responsibilities
 

• Develop and execute the quality department’s strategy, tactics and action items.
• Lead and manage efforts to improve: customer satisfaction, total cost of quality, initial quality, warranty and perfect order.
• Lead efforts to train, improve and expand use of problem solving, lean, and other process improvement tools across the business.
• Lead best practice development and implementation of non-conformance and error proofing tools and techniques.
• Monitor product, process and measurement trends for best practices. Recommend change as needed.
• Lead the quality team of engineers, supervisors and technicians.

 
Experience/Qualifications
 
 

• BSc in related field or equivalent; Masters preferred;
• Minimum of 7 years of Engineering/technical quality management experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Quality management systems, quality tools and production processes.
• Proven ability to develop and improve concepts, techniques, and standards and new applications based on quality principles and theories.
• Well versed in QA process and methodologies with an ability to adapt according to the needs of the business.
