Job Description
Autotube Limited, a progressive auto parts manufacturer, with facilities in Strathroy and Watford Ontario has an opening for a CNC Bender Set Up Operator in our Watford Plant on the day shift. (Monday – Friday 7am -3:30pm)
The successful candidate’s must:
The successful candidate’s must:
- Process metal tubing for manufacturing of product
- Perform all processes associated with the tube bender (setups, loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, all bench operations, and inspect)
- Set up all bending tools and program bends
- Must be able to read diagrams and specifications on each particular part
- Position and bend metal to specified dimensions according to the drawings
- Responsible to maintain quality on all parts produced
- Measure and maintain dimensions on material as required
- Maintain basic machine maintenance
- Report and document any equipment malfunctions to supervisor
- Work within the standard operation procedures and job safety parameters.
- Maintain 5S standards and keep machinery and area clean
- Experience with BendPro Software considered an asset
- Have at least 2 years’ experience working with tube bending machines and experience with CNC programming
