Job Description
Autotube, a tier 1 manufacturer of tubing parts and oil dipsticks for the automotive market is seeking an engineer to work in a very fast paced manufacturing environment in Watford, Ontario.
The main elements of the job are as follows:
- To assist manufacturing teams with projects to improve productivity and quality
- To assist developing processes for new products, researching and ordering tooling and machinery for new products
The candidate will possess a degree or diploma in engineering in any of the following disciplines:
- Mechanical
- Mechatronics
- Integrated
- Manufacturing
The candidate will be mechanically inclined, able to understand blueprints, process flows, manufacturing processes and tooling elements. The candidate will enjoy a manufacturing envrionment, be hands on, be a self starter with the ability to communicate effectively with shop floor leaders, team members and technical staff. Very strong computer skils and the ability to design in CAD is required.
