Waterville TG Inc., a Tier 1 automotive supplier of weather-stripping located in Petrolia, Ontario (near Sarnia) currently requires a:
MANUFACTURING ENGINEER/TECHNOLOGIST
Major Areas of Responsibility:
-Provide technical support for existing extrusion (continuous) processes
-Design, review, schedule and evaluate scrap reduction, process improvement and machine standardization activities
-Troubleshooting of technical problems
-Issue resolution related to process capacity and equipment breakdowns
-Resolve process and equipment safety issues
Qualifications:
-Degree or diploma in mechanical, chemical or industrial engineering or technology
-Three to five years’ technical experience approximately
-Strong hands-on approach to problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
-AutoCAD or Solidworks
-Computer skills in a windows environment, including email
-Solid communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
