Bonduelle, a recognized industry leader in the processing and distribution of quality frozen vegetable products to the world market is seeking a:
STATIONARY ENGINEER
For our Strathroy location to fill a seasonal position until December 2011. This opportunity will require shift work and weekends.
This position would appeal to an individual that is interested in working annually on a seasonal basis from June until December.
Responsibilities:
· Safe and efficient operation of boilers, ammonia compressors and related equipment
· Defrost freezer tunnels as scheduled by Production Supervisor(s)
· Record daily water, gas, and steam use
· Record freezer tunnel and storage temperatures, fire system pressure, water and air
· Operation of Water Vac and air knife equipment
· Maintain accurate log book of activities
· General housekeeping of compressor room and boiler room
· Complete daily chemical test on boilers, condensers, and water softeners
Qualifications:
· 3rd Class Stationary Engineer or ‘B’ Refrigeration Certificate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of GMP’s and HACCP
- Food Industry experience an asset
