Our client in Sudbury is currently looking to recruit a Electrical Designer – Electrical Engineer on a permanent basis to assist in their manufacturing of heavy off road equipment

 The successful candidate will be required to produce design documentation (assembly drawings, related schematics, wiring diagrams and specifications) for mobile equipment. You will also assist in product development, producing technical specifications for outside consultants and conducting original studies that include the latest technology in design and construction.  As well as participate in testing to prove the integrity of existing machines and new components and provide shop and field support to Service Technicians and Junior Designers.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Electrical Engineering and/or Industrial Electrician license.
• Excellent Knowledge of AC and DC control circuits
• Proficient with Autocad2000 & Solidworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience with mining equipment is an asset
