We are currently seeking full time Direct Sales & Events Representatives, located in Southwestern Ontario.

The Direct Sales & Events Representative is responsible for complete event management, including set-up, execution, sales, and management of external partners, to fulfill event goals.  Specifically, this role assists in the development of the community event plan, scheduling all tasks associated, including the development of various templates to track and communicate results.  The successful candidate will be responsible for door to door sales, maximizing the potential revenues from existing customers by upgrading Amtelecom’s products as well as acquiring new customers. Significant travel within Ontario will be required.  Direct Sales & Events Representatives work in teams of two. This position reports to the Regional Consumer Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

·         Proven experience in direct sales and/or event coordination;

·        Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

·         Solid public speaking and sales skills;

·         Ability to manage multiple projects with varying levels of supervision;

·         Demonstrated ability to take initiative and responsibility in a team environment;

·         Trustworthy and ethically sound;

·         Heavy lifting will be required, up to 50 lbs;

·         Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary;

·         Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record is mandatory;
