Your duties will include but are not limited to ensuring overall compliance of company policies and procedures including animal welfare, vaccinations, biosecurity, health and safety.

Area of Specialization: Swine

Experience Required:

Automated Systems Experience
Bulk grain or feed handling - automated, Automated environmental control equipment, Manure handling and
storage, feeding and watering system, Hog and pig farming, Specialized Livestock Workers Specific Skills, Weaning, Feed inventory, Handling animals, Processing pig litters

Requirements:

Team player, willingness to get dirty, good fitness level and work independently. Valid driver’s license required. Related experience. Attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, handling heavy loads, overtime required.

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Truck, automated feeding

Specific Skills
Perform general farm duties. Stone and/or wood picking.

Renumeration:

We offer competitive wages from $16 to $20 / hour depending on experience, with group benefits available after 90 days, paid vacation time of 14 days per year. Average of 55 - 60 hours per week with regular days off.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Overtime
