Senior Reliability Engineer $90-95K

This position reports to the Maintenance & Capital Projects Manager and is primarily to drive reliability improvement at Compass Minerals in Goderich, Ontario. This position would be of particular interest to an engineering professional with a proven background in project delivery and increased reliability processes.

You are a team developer with a passion for creating and implementing solutions. Your investigative nature will serve you well with your cross functional business partners in troubleshooting and identifying root causes and focusing the team’s efforts in identifying creative solutions.

Managing small to medium capital projects from conception to implementation, while developing strategies to ensure equipment reliability through RAM.

As the engineering support to maintenance, your background in CI and OEE will be put to good use. Lead “fact based” and “data driven” decision making through the active sponsorship and teaching of how to effectively utilize SPC, FMEA, RAM and RCM. Assist the maintenance team’s understanding in how to best utilize and set go-forward maintenance strategies and the required action plans based on “key” data captured within the CMMS.

Set and monitor budgets and spending; review of major projects; prioritization of capital spend initiatives in alignment with key operations and commercialization initiatives.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil), with a minimum of 4+ years in a similar role.
