Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for a:
 
Implementation Coach
Association of Professional Student Services Personnel
2.0 FTE Permanent Positions (10-month employee)
Full time 35 hours per week
Effective September 1, 2022
Salary range:  $48,705 to $67,504 commensurate with experience
 

Working as a member of the Learning Services System Support Team, and reporting to the Clinical Lead Supervisor, the implementation coach will support the development and implementation of social emotional learning and mentally healthy classrooms in both elementary and secondary schools, and both in-person as well as virtual schools at LDCSB.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
 
  • College level diploma or undergraduate degree in social work (BSW), or social service work (SSW), or child and youth worker (CYW) required or equivalent.
  • Understanding of trauma informed practices to support resilience of children and youth in K-12.
  • Experience in the development and implementation 1 mental health and well-being resources that promote learning, caring, and inclusive conditions for learning as well as mental health awareness, knowledge and literacy.
  • Understanding of the fundamental aspects of mentally healthy classrooms.
  • Familiarity and understanding of the common elements of Social Emotional Learning
  • Ability to be self-directed and work in both in-school and virtual learning environments.
  • Proven ability to provide professional development, coaching and consultation on mental health and well-being components.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  •  Ability to present to large groups.
  • Ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships, work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Possess an understanding and willingness to support an inclusive Catholic education environment.
  • Reliable transportation is required to travel within the LDCSB District.
