Logistics Manager
Job Specifications:
· Maintain and improve processes in logistics and material flow at the Brose Canada location
· Continuously improve logistical supply chain processes (internal and external)
· Optimize the connection between material flow and IT infrastructure to ensure plant operations runs without impact
· Maintain all required activities for keeping health, safety and environmental aspects related to material flow and logistics
· Carry out discussions with internal purchasing and suppliers improving logistic costs
· Lead, support and motivate staff in their own responsibilities and implement all relevant HR measures
· Prepare annual budget plan (including personnel planning) for area of responsibility and present planned figures to management staff for approval.
· Monitor budget development and implement counter-measures in the event of actual/planned deviations.
· Interface with customers with respect to logistic related topics
· Job related management of material schedulers in the assembly team through target setting, monitoring of progress, job related evaluation and support, when required.
· Responsible for the effective management of environmental aspects in logistics in accordance with Brose standards to ensure that legal, regulatory and customer requirements are met.

Job Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Logistics or Logistics certification plus experience
· Minimum of 5+ years of logistics supervisory/ management experience preferably with an Automotive Supplier
· Strong knowledge and experience with SAP
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Profound knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety regulations and standards as well as Employment Law
· Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
· Experience with financial planning and budgeting
