West Elgin Mutual is looking to recruit a positive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to join our Underwriting department as a PROPERTY UNDERWRITER.
The role calls for someone who can underwrite, rate, and issue renewals, endorsements, and new business within binding authority limits and according to our company guidelines, and who can contribute on a daily basis to enhance the current positive working environment.
Along with excellent communication and customer service skills, applicants should be comfortable in their ability to make sound judgements when it comes to decision making, problem-solving, and prioritization.
Preference will be given to applicants with 1 or more year's experience. There will be a trial period at our Dutton, ON branch, after which consideration will be given to the role transitioning to a hybrid option.
