ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/PAYROLL ASSISTANT – FULL TIME

We are currently looking for a Accounts Receivable/Payroll Assistant to join our Finance team.
In this role you will be responsible for processing payroll for our global operations (Canada, US, United Kingdom, Europe). You will also be responsible for processing weekly consignment invoices for all consigned inventory accounts. In addition, you will issue monthly accounts receivable statements and complete the reconciliation of accounts. You will process deposits and post payments while maintaining records of transactions. You will also be responsible for reconciling and posting credit card sales transactions and processing monthly credit card expenses along with monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations.
The successful candidate will have a post secondary education in a business or accounting program or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The incumbent will require an advanced knowledge of computer applications especially Microsoft Excel and ideally would have experience with AccPac accounting software. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in payroll processing. The incumbent must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions.
