Teaching Opportunity
The PSW Program with Adult Day School, part of Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education is posting for qualified teachers to be added to our pool of teachers. Courses are scheduled based on student enrollment for each term.

Session Dates: May 2, 2024, to

Location: This position is in our Personal Support Worker Program. The successful candidate will be working with PSW students as they complete their co-op placement at a Long-Term Care facility within the city of London. The successful candidate must be a RN or RPN as well as an OCT. Individuals who are an RN or RPN but are not an OCT may still apply. However, those applicants would only be considered if there are no RN or RPN applicants who are also an OCT. The teacher is needed full time from May 2 to May 15, then part-time from May 16 to May 23. There are two positions available. Information about TVDSB's PSW Program can be found at www.tvdsb.ca/psw. The recruitment process may require a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons. The criminal background check must be dated November 2, 2024, or later (ie. completed in the 6 months prior to starting work). |

Class Times: Afternoon (2:00pm to 10:00pm) |
Rate of Pay: Rate of pay is dependent on experience. As an Ontario Certified Teacher, the rate of pay is between $44.99 - $87.03 per/hour. Applicants who are not an Ontario Certified Teacher may be paid less than an Ontario Certified Teacher. Please Note: Rate increases are currently under review. |
