Position Responsibilities: 

• Participation with the quality management lifecycle with effective written and verbal communication.
• Participation in analyzing business and technical requirements and user-cases as well as mapping them to test cases.
• Identify quality risks / issues and escalate appropriately to the QA Manager. 
• Develop accurate and timely estimates for QA test plans and schedules.
• Design test cases, developing and executing test automation.
• Participation in preparation of the test environment and the execution of testing tasks as the need arises.
• Execute test plans and document the results. 
• Identify and drive defects (bugs) resolution to closure.
• Adherence to the EK3 Quality standards and policies for Technology, Product, and Services development.
• Monitor and follow through the release management in QM. 

Education and Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent training and experience
• Solid knowledge through formal education or training with product and process quality best practices and standards
• 3+ years’ experience testing enterprise-level or large-scale web based applications in a formal QA work environment.
• 2+ years’ experience in driving QA process for software testing independently in a software development team with minimal supervision.
• 3+ years’ experience in developing test plans and test cases.
• 3+ years’ experience with stress and load testing.
• 2+ years’ experience of Web Automation experience using QuickTest Professional or others
• 2+ years' test experience in Linux/Unix environment, able to do test environment preparation in Linux environment independently 
• 2+ years' software programming experience
