LEHDER Environmental Services is an environmental consulting company focused on providing Excellence in Industrial Air Quality Services. Formed in 1995, LEHDER is now one of the largest Air Quality Management companies in Canada.  We are currently seeking a Project Leader for the Emissions Testing Group based in Point Edward, Ontario.  We offer competitive salaries based upon experience and a health and pension plan. 

Education: The ideal candidate should have an Environmental or Chemical degree or diploma.  Other diplomas and degrees will be considered.  An individual with a QSTI designation would be preferred.

Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience in emissions testing using both Ontario and US EPA methodologies.  The experience should include writing proposals, pre-test plans, QA/QC for testing, preparing for jobs, managing test programs, conducting stack sampling and reviewing / writing final reports.  Individuals with Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) experience are preferred.       

Position:      The job will require the individual to travel throughout North America to conduct stack sampling programs with an experienced test crew.  The project leader will manage test programs that require 2 to 12 testers.  They must understand all aspects of the sampling programs from inception to completion and be able to communicate effectively with regulatory agencies.

Additional Requirements:  The ideal candidate should have the following:  a valid Class G driver license, valid passport, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to work at heights, ability to work overtime, and ability to perform heavy lifting and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
