Elementary School Secretary- 0.5 FTE at St. Nicholas Catholic Elementary School (1956 Shore Rd. London, ON) Reporting to the School Principal you will provide administrative support in the day-to-day operations of a Catholic School in accordance with board policies and procedures. The emphasis of work is on maintaining effective and positive public relations with parents, teachers, students and school visitors while operating a functional and efficient office.
• Post-Secondary training in Office Administration • Proven knowledge and experience utilizing Student Management software (PowerSchool) functionality applicable to elementary school needs and Microsoft Office software (Word, Publisher, Excel), with advanced word processing skills • Experience utilizing the SpendMap purchasing program and KevSoftware – school banking program • Excellent organization and communication skills • Proven ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment and independently in a fast paced, multi-task office • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact successfully with young children, colleagues, parents and the public • Sensitivity for the confidential nature of the position • Elementary school secretarial experience required
Start Date: August 29, 2022 Job Type: Permanent Salary Range: $28.38 to $31.24 (Commensurate with experience)
