Our client, an expanding manufacturing facility in the Exeter Ontario Area is looking to add a CNC Technician Supervisor to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and stable organization that is looking to add to their solid manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising 40-45 production staff members. This includes all motivation, coaching, discipline and training related to keeping the work force on pace to achieving its production targets. Perform basic CNC programming and some cutting tool recommending/managing. Basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery and repairs, Achieve forecasted production targets. This position will be required to effectively communicate and understand corporate production targets and be able to intelligently support targets with production planning strategies that allow for the attainment of targets.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in production CNC machining of metals or castings
• 1-2 years supervisory experience in a production setting
• Experience in cutting tool selection and performance trials
• Experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment
• Ability to develop CNC programs using part blue prints
• Experience working with assembly equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Must be able to work rotating shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights)
