Smart Choice Communications Inc. is seeking Professional Sales Representatives in the
General Purpose
Smart Choice Communications Inc. is seeking dynamic individuals to join our growing sales team who are motivated, dedicated, driven to succeed and who can take initiative. The qualified candidate(s) must be a proven go-getter with knowledge in online, social media and print advertising sales. They will be responsible for building long-lasting relationships with local businesses while meeting specific sales targets. We are looking for sales professionals who can combine their entrepreneurial spirit, smarts for process-driven selling, a consultative sales approach and proven ability to sell advertisement ideas to customers.
Job Responsibilities
§ Will be responsible for generating and collecting advertising orders as well as managing and maintaining all customer contracts and accounts
§ Work closely with the design team in order to ensure a seamless process of gathering advertising materials and approvals from customers
§ Know, understand and actively use marketing collateral to inform and provide clients and prospects with pertinent data to develop measurable, relevant media campaigns to reach the most desirable consumers
§ Prospect for new customers, cold call, assess needs of prospects and present solutions-oriented advertising and marketing ideas that will close advertising contracts
§ Manage, grow and evaluate client needs to ensure continued client satisfaction and marketing results
§ Meet all deadlines to ensure efficient production and timely distribution of Smart Choice Communications Inc. products and services
§ Communicate effectively with other members of the team
§ Build long-lasting relationships with businesses
§ Assist regional sales Manager in advertising/marketing sales, new contracts, design concepts, ongoing customer development and other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
§ Strong work ethic with 1-2 years minimum of local or regional sales experience required
§
§ Intimate knowledge of the sales process, strong sales capability and demonstrated track record of engaging customers in a consultative sales approach and closing
§ Prior media sales experience (e.g.: Yellow Pages, coupon advertising or Newspaper) highly desirable
§ Excellent verbal and communication skills
§ Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment under stress while handling tight deadlines and pressure
