Our Client located in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Production Manager for their manufacturing facility.  This position will appeal to those individuals that thrive in a fast paced environment and like to be challenged by achieving time sensitive client demands.

Job Responsibilities:

-          Motivate and guide a production team numbering in excess of 100 staff over a 3 shift operation

-          Ensure production targets are achieved

-          Technical resource for machinery or equipment troubleshooting

-          Effective communications with peer management team.

-          Effective labour utilization strategies 

Required Qualifications:

-          Post-secondary education in engineering, manufacturing or operations

-          Minimum 5 years management experience in a manufacturing environment

-          Strong understanding of metal machining, forging and heat treating.  

-          Experience working within ISO/TS16949 approved facility
