Job Description
The primary function of this role is to oversee all H.R. functions not limited to recruitment & retention, employee development & training, the proactive management of the Safety program, WSIB and promotion of safety awareness. Additionally overseeing the coordination of activities related to general administration, payroll, benefits, visiting VIP, special events and projects.
Responsibilities:

Ensure company remains compliant with all Human Rights, Safety and employment legislation |
|
Recommend / revise all company policies and ensure they are communicated to employees |
|
Recruitment, selection and training initiatives |
|
Coordinate the efforts for Environmental and Safety matters |
|
Oversee the payroll and benefits administration |
|
Implementation of salaried and non-salaried training intiatives |
|
Retention and succession planning coordination |
|
Team building and fostering a positive workplace culture and relationships |
|
Coordination of guest, community and employee activities |
|
Proactively research new recruiting, retention, training techniques |
|
Coach leadership on performance management |
|
Other duties as assigned |
Skills and Experience Requirements:
|
Business or B. Admin / H.R. degree |
|
Superior MicroSoft Office Suite skills |
|
8 + years experience in a designated Human Resources generalist management role |
|
Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills required |
|
Superior knowledge on pertinent Human Rights, Safety and Ontario employment standards. |
