Production Supervisor
Job Specifications:

Supervise Team Members and maintain an effective, efficient production area

Ensure strict adherence to Company standards and policies
-
Provide World Class communication and empowerment to all team members
-
Plan and organize production capacity (personnel and equipment) in order to meet customer requirements
-
Monitor and control production key performance indicators (cost, process, quality, delivery housekeeping, scrap, employee attendance and employee satisfaction)
-
Respond to and find solutions to production issues, liaise with other internal departments, ensure no disruptions to customer deliveries
-
Support and lead in the area of continuous improvement for the production team
-
Actively promote a positive work environment by recognizing employee efforts towards continuous improvement
-
Build effective teams, develop motivation and commitment and maintain morale
-
Support Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations
-
Maintain daily accounts for time and attendance systems
-
Ensure Team Members are properly trained and training matrices are 100% up to date
-
Ensure work area is safe, ensure all safety rules and regulations and promote proactive approach to safety. (Pre-shift inspections)

Complete daily layered audits and ensure all corrective actions are implemented on time
Job Qualifications:
-
3 years of automotive manufacturing experience
-
University or College Diploma – Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing leadership course of study and/or a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Computer literate (SAP, Microsoft Office)

Knowledge of Employment Law

Leadership skills

Time Management, organization and prioritization skills

Disciplined problem solving

MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) training
