We are currently looking for an Environmental Engineer with experience in managing and conducting environmental site assessment and remediation projects.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing environmental site assessment and remediation proposals and projects including drilling and test pitting sampling programs, geophysical surveys, soil and ground water remediation.
• Directing and mentoring junior field staff in the completion of field sampling techniques, preparation of field logs, coordination of subcontractors, etc.
• Management of field data and assisting in the preparation of technical reports.
• Participation and collaboration with other offices and staff on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a recognized post-secondary environmental program with Bachelors of Science degree or a related field would be an asset.
• Experience in an environmental capacity with related site assessment experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills with the drive to advance these skills through coaching and demonstrate a strong commitment to technical excellence.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time, while ensuring delivery within specific deadlines and budgets
