Construction and Project Manager
The Design Group is excited to be partnering with a world leader organization in the Oil & Gas and Utility sector. On behalf of our client we are looking to identify a Construction and Project Manager with the requisite level of expertise in chemical process engineering. You will need demonstrable experience from the Oil and Gas sector.

You will take accountability for:
 

• Provide strategic and business input to the project management of work related to operational consistency (pipeline integrity and capital upgrades)
• Provide leadership within capital projects, adhering to time and cost constraints
• Provide leadership on scheduling, materials and Contractor management
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure successful delivery relating to core objectives
• Apply engineering analysis to pipeline system, looking at corrosion, welding, fluid mechanics, stress and metallurgy.
• Supporting a safe working environment
• Coaching and development of best practice
• Provide first class records and update SOPs

 
Key Qualifications:
 

• Engineering Degree (P.Eng designated)
• Demonstrable experience leading projects within the Oil and Gas sector
• Experience in managing multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of capital project management with Gas pipelines an asset
• Fully conversant with operating codes
• Strong organizational skills
