Our client is currently seeking an experienced Dye Penetrant Level II inspector that is able to work casual part time hours.  This position awards an hourly rate ranging from $20.00/hr to $25.00/hr.  This is a great position for retirees looking to keep busy.

Job Summary: 

• To reinforce proactive Quality improvements through Quality walking around.
• To build a better Quality system.
• To ensure all products is correct to Customer and/or company specifications, organized, and complete before shipping
• To ensure everyone has information on up-coming testing.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Verify all product to the customer purchase order for accuracy of product and work order instruction form
• Ensure all product conforms to customer specifications and participate in detailed final inspections when required (Quality Check sheets are completed)
• Include all applicable documentation to include with shipping MTR’s and calculations etc.
• Will attach all necessary Travelers and inspection sheets to shop packet for filing in the customer records
• Assist in all inner department and shop functions as required
•  Testing ; Hydro, PMI, Dye pen
•  Washing and stamping when required.
• Complete on line testing documents for orders
• Help with shipping documentation ( MTR, label making, label verification…)

Helping Lead hands with rework and Quality requirement by reinforcing Quality expectations.
Note: Random Quality Check Sheet must be completed daily and handed in to the Quality Manager.
 
Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of customer codes and specifications and working knowledge of all products. Must be a team player and problem solver.
• Dye Pen Certification Level II. PMI, Hardness, Internal Hydro. (If applicable)
