Job Description

Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Develop financial tools for management to ensure improvement of the Ontario plant’s financial control systems.
  • Prepare the complete financial analysis of the Ontario plant’s results (productivity, scrap and expenses). 
  • Co-ordinate cost reduction projects, analyze expense trends and provide information to management.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Assist with the purchase of goods and services for the Ontario plant.
  • Review requisition specifications to ensure sufficient information for quotes and purchases
  • Conduct supplier follow-ups to ensure “on time” delivery.
  • Assist with the control of Stores inventory as required 
  • Apply and promote WTG’s general rules, policies, procedures and systems
 
 
Qualifications
  1. College diploma or university degree, specializing in Business, Accounting, and/or Purchasing.
  2. Accounting/Purchasing designation, or working toward them.
  3. 3-5 years of accounting and purchasing (buyer) related work experience preferably in an industrialized automotive setting.
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  5. Able to work independently and take initiative.
  6. Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes and SAP.
