Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the production team during the afternoon shift, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
- Schedule and assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of production goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee quality controls and ensure all requirements are met, doing frequent checks, and understanding the importance of producing good quality parts.
- Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety training sessions.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
