Our client located in Southwestern Ontario is in search of an experienced Maintenance Manager (P.Eng, chemical or petrochemical industries) to join their team on a full time basis. RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Oversees the Maintenance Department activities to ensure that the production units are supported in a safe, reliable manner.
-Prepares and ensures that the annual Maintenance budgets are applied in a consistent manner and that costs are controlled.
-Ensures that the department maintains a high level of technical expertise and provides training to enhance and meet the needs of present technology.
-Ensures that all environmental & safety systems are tested and documented.
-Participates in capital / turnaround planning and ensures that the department supports Engineering and Operations throughout the process
-Administers Human Resources policies and practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
-Engineering degree and P.Eng license for Ontario (or able to obtain that license)(MUST HAVE)
-Practical experience in maintenance activities in an industrial setting and with a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory / leadership role.
-Experience must be from chemical or petrochemical industries

Compensation 120 000 - 190 000
