Job Title:             Industrial Mechanic- Injection Mold Machines - AFTERNOON SHIFT

AUTOTUBE LIMITED IS A TIER 1 SUPPLIER TO THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.
We are looking for an Industrial Mechanic for our Injection Mould Machines in our Strathroy Plant.

***This position works 4 x 10 hour shifts and off Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays***

Hours are :  Monday to Thursday 3:30pm until 2:00 am
 
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in injection moulding. environment.  
 
Major responsibilities include the following:
 

• Responsible for start up, and setup and troubleshoot several injection moulding machines.
• Performs Set Ups of injection mold machines to meet production schedule set
• Performs preventative maintenance activities on a regular basis to maintain equipment.  This includes mold machines, dryers, grinders, and thermolators
• Minimize scrap and improve product quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S principles
• A key member involved in continuous improvement initiatives
• Look for ways to increase efficiency, product quality and reduce scrap
• Communicate with production staff about any issues to be aware of
• Review production processes and maintain required documentation.
• Ensures adequate hand off of information to the day shift technician.
• Provide technical support to the production staff
