Job Title: Injection Moulding Set-Up Technician
Location: Strathroy Ontario
Position Type: Permanent, Full time
AUTOTUBE LIMITED IS A TIER 1 SUPPLIER TO THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.
We are looking for an Injection Moulding Set Up Technician in our Strathroy Plant.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in injection moulding. environment.
Major responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for start up, and setup and troubleshoot several injection moulding machines
- Minimize scrap and improve product quality
- Set up and maintenance of dryers and thermolators
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S principles
- A key member involved in continuous improvement initiatives
- Look for ways to increase efficiency, product quality and reduce scrap
- Communicate with production staff about any issues to be aware of
- Review production processes and maintain required documentation
- Provide technical support to the production staff
- Performs preventative maintenance activities on a regular basis to maintain equipment
