IS2 Workforce Solutions is recruiting an experienced Crane Operator / Rigging Specialist on behalf of our client, a well-established employer in Southwestern Ontario. This is a stable, long-term permanent opportunity with strong earning potential and minimal turnover.

Location: Chatham, ON

Pay Rate: $40.00 – $60.00/hour (or to be negotiated)

*Our client is willing to look at candidates from out of area within Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently on job sites
• Perform advanced rigging and lifting operations
• Conduct daily crane inspections, boom checks, and basic maintenance
• Work closely with customers and site personnel to complete lifts safely
• Follow all safety protocols and report any mechanical or safety concerns immediately
• Assist with heavy lifting and physical rigging tasks as required

Requirements

• Valid 339A Hoisting Engineer (Crane Operator) license
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license
• Strong rigging knowledge and hands-on experience
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform daily equipment checks
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and working in demanding environments
• Safety-focused mindset — speak up if something doesn’t sound or feel right

Work Schedule & Environment

• Standard 40-hour work week
• Typical start time 6:00 AM until finished
• Flexible scheduling, with occasional weekend work required
• Plenty of overtime opportunities
• Operate within a fleet of multiple cranes
• Stable work environment with low turnover and no anticipated layoffs
